To maintain a friendly atmosphere all members are expected to familiarise themselves with the following rules, guidelines and recommendations when using the board.
Things to be aware of:For your own safety please be aware of the following before posting on the board or entering the chatroom:· Bipolar 4 All recommend not giving out personal details such as your surname, postal address or phone number on the Boards. This is for your own safety and protection as other people browsing the Boards could easily misuse this information. · It is important to keep in mind that the advice and support offered by members of Bipolar4all does not substitute the advice of a medical professional. Members of the forum are either people with bipolar disorder or people caring for those with the disorder and as such any advice offered should be used at your own discretion.
· All posts on Bipolar4all represent the opinion of the poster and not that of the board.
· The Triggering section of the board is for members in a great deal of distress, please exercise caution when reading such posts, you need to consider you own mental health at the time of entering the triggering section.

If a topic is distressing for you then please leave and please use a little discretion, particularly if someone is in distress. If you would like to talk about problems or worries there is a specific room set up for that, please ask anybody in the chatroom at that time if they are up to a chat of that nature.
